Flagship’s community beacon #4
Welcome to our third community beacon, where we keep you informed about all the latest developments for Flagship. It’s been two weeks filled with important decisions and developments, so let’s dig right in.
Tech
On the tech side, we’ve been running into multiple constraints for launching Vaults on a single blockchain. To ensure we are able to offer unique and attractive Vaults off the bat, we’ve decided to 1) go multichain and 2) integrate a centralized exchange to pull assets from.
This has led to various unique Vaults that we’re hopefully be able to shine some more light on in the next edition. Let me promise you, you won’t find these Vaults anywhere else. Finally, we’ve decided to align our product and content even further, ensuring strong synergies between both sides of the company.
Captains
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been scouting for new Captains that can bring their domain expertise to our Vaults. We’ve had some successes and are now in talks with the applicants. We’ve also reinstated the Captain Calls, which anyone can join in our Discord to talk about the markets, trends and life! I also like to give a shoutout to Captain Jack, who’s been doing an incredible job at covering all-things Stacks and Greg, who’s company Empowa recently got featured by Coinbase.
Content
We’re continuing to focus on the Bitcoin economy as Ordinals and BRC-20 tokens have really shook things up there in a good way, with new startups and capital rapidly emerging. A second narrative we’re focusing on is LSD-Finance, a new and promising sector of the crypto economy building financial layers on top of staking rewards. We’re also seeing an increasing impact of our content through socials and traffic and you can always help out by sharing our favourite content!
Final thoughts
We’re moving full steam ahead with our Vaults and can’t wait to be able to get users in! Join us on Discord or subscribe to the newsletter to be among the first ones to start using them.
Until the next one, Jorn and team Flagship
